Real Madrid made a new offer worth €200 million to Paris Saint-Germain for the rights to Kylian Mbappe but received no reply.

Madrid made an initial €160 million offer for Mbappe last week and, after it was immediately turned down, followed it up with a bid worth €170 million up front plus €10 million in add-ons.

There had been attempts from Madrid in recent days to put pressure on PSG by threatening to withdraw from negotiations.

Mbappe has been Real Madrid's top transfer target for multiple seasons.

Chelsea have completed a loan deal with Atletico Madrid for Saul Niguez with the deal containing an option to buy next summer.

The deal was thrown into doubt as the transfer had not been confirmed by either club before the midnight CET deadline.

Local media said the delay was caused by a problem with LaLiga's transfer registration system, however, and the documentation had been correctly submitted in time.

"We welcome Saul to the Club and believe he completes our squad as we compete for honours in five different competitions this season," Chelsea director Marina Granovskaia said.

Antoine Griezmann will rejoin Atletico Madrid from Barcelona in a $12 million loan deal with an option to stay permanently for $47 million.

Griezmann will sign a two-year contract with an optional third year at the Wanda Metropolitano. Atleti intends to make the transfer permanent next summer.

Griezmann left Atletico for Barcelona in a €120 million deal in 2019, but he struggled to live up to expectations at Camp Nou, scoring 22 league goals in two seasons.

Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain have had their transfer talks involving Kylian Mbappe stall.

Madrid had offered PSG €180 million -- €170m plus €10m in variables -- last Thursday for Mbappe's transfer, an improvement on a initial €160m bid from earlier in the week.

Mbappe will remain with PSG this season if there is not a third bid.

Mbappe has told them that if he stays, he won't sign a new contract and will leave as a free agent when his deal expires next summer.

There is some level of concern within Real Madrid that Mbappe could be pressured into signing an extension if a transfer isn't finalized. 

Tottenham have agreed a fee of €30 million to sign right back Emerson Royal from barcelona.

Emerson has spent the past two years on loan at Real Betis, who he helped to qualify for the Europa League last season under the manager Manuel Pellegrini.

Paris Saint-Germain will target Bayern Munich's Robert Lewandowski, Borussia Dortmund's Erling Haaland, or Everton's Richarlison should Kylian Mbappe make a move to Real Madrid this summer.

PSG and Real Madrid have yet to agree to a deal but discussions are ongoing. 

Lewandowski's agent Pini Zahavi was in Paris on Monday and has offered his client to the club. Lewandowski would like a new challenge after seven years at Bayern.

On Friday, Leonardo spoke to Haaland's agent, Mino Raiola, who is in favor of a move from Dortmund for his client this summer.

Dortmund don't want to let Haaland go, but the 21-year-old has a €75 million release clause (potentially reaching €100m) which will come into effect next year and PSG believe that a bid of around €200 million could convince Dortmund to accept.

It might take a €100 million offer, but sources said that Richarlison is keen on a move to PSG.

Cristiano Ronaldo has agreed to join Manchester United from Juventus on a two-year deal.

Ronaldo returns to United after leaving for Real Madrid in 2009.

Manchester City were one of the clubs who looked at the possibility but on Friday sources told ESPN they had pulled out of the race.

Talks between Ronaldo, United and Juventus began on Thursday night.

Real Madrid has submitted a second, improved offer of €180 million ($212 million) to Paris Saint-Germain for Kylian Mbappe.

PSG rejected Real Madrid's initial bid of €160 million.

The second offer of €180 million consists of a flat €170 million with a possible €10 million in add-ons, which sources told ESPN are "easily achievable."

PSG is believed to be holding out for an offer closer to €220 million. 

Mbappe has a year left on his contract and has already rejected several renewal offers as he wants to join Real Madrid. 

Cristiano Ronaldo and Manchester City are closing in on an agreement.

Ronaldo and Pep Guardiola spoke on Thursday ahead of his possible departure from Juventus.

The main stumbling block will be what Juventus demand as a fee for Ronaldo, but there is optimism that a deal can be reached. Juventus would want around €28 million before allowing Ronaldo to leave but there is a keenness to get him off their wage bill.

Guardiola wants a striker to replace Sergio Aguero, and Harry Kane was the club's top target before he announced he would remain at Tottenham Hotspur.

City and Juventus have yet to open negotiations. 

Arsenal has ruled out the possibility of selling Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang this summer.

Arsenal are looking to unload several members of their squad after spending more than £130 million on new players. 

Mikel Arteta was asked whether he was concerned Manchester City could pursue Aubameyang.

"I don't know. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is our player and he will remain here," said Arteta.
